Alison Tristram – I’m an independent designer and maker. Many years of experience in several disciplines (graphic design, print, textile art) is the foundation for this collection of hand printed and hand stitched items.

Most pieces begin with natural, plain fabrics onto which I block-print my design. Each hand-carved block makes just one element of a pattern. Designs are built up in layers. The placing of the blocks and colour choices are decided in the moment, which is what makes each piece unique.
